STAR CITY /Moscow region/, December 24. /tass/. Channel One will repair part of the premises of the Cosmonaut Training Center, where the filming of the film "The Challenge" will take place. This was stated on Friday by the executive producer of the project "Challenge" Olga Danova.

"To enhance the artistic component, we have decided to carry out partial repairs of the premises in which we will shoot <...> We hope for assistance, the alignment of our schedules," she said.

The producer clarified that a contractor has already been found, a draft contract is ready. "We will go out and present all these documents to you for the launch of work in early February. So that our colleagues give us <...> 2.5 months for this repair to be completed. We hope that it will also give an artistic component, including to your objects, which will remain later and will bring you the joy of being there," Danova noted.

In turn, the head of the CPC Maxim Kharlamov asked to carry out all the necessary work as quickly as possible. "These are the premises where combat work and training are going on, so we ask you not to delay, <...> to do it faster," he said.

The shooting of the film should be completed by the end of 2022.

The space drama under the working title "Challenge" is a joint project of Roscosmos, Channel One and the studio Yellow, Black and White. Cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko went to the ISS on October 5 on the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft to conduct filming in space. The film tells about a girl doctor who flies into orbit to save an astronaut. Cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and Pyotr Dubrov also took part in the filming. Novitsky, Peresild and Shipenko returned to Earth on October 17 on the descent vehicle of the Yu. A. Gagarin spacecraft (Soyuz MS-18). Shkaplerov and Dubrov remained on the ISS until the spring of 2022.
