MOSCOW, December 24. /tass/. The Federation Council at a meeting on Friday approved a law that expands the list of grounds for early dismissal of military personnel under contract. Now they can be prematurely dismissed if they do not meet the requirements for working with nuclear munitions.
As stated in the explanatory note, dismissal on such grounds is possible if there is no other military position that is not related to the operation of nuclear munitions, to which a serviceman can be appointed under a contract.
"The law provides for the introduction of a new basis for early dismissal from military service of a serviceman undergoing military service under a contract due to non-compliance with the requirements for servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carrying out work on the operation of nuclear ammunition established by regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation," the explanatory note says.
In addition, an indispensable condition for the dismissal of a contract employee on this basis should be the absence of his consent to the proposed higher or lower military positions of another specialty.
