He said that his colleagues on the crew - Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and his business assistant Yozo Hirano helped him in his work
MOSCOW, December 22. /tass/. Managing the Soyuz MS-20 manned spacecraft alone turned out to be easier than it seemed before the flight, cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin said during a conference in TASS, which was held in an online format together with Roscosmos and the Cosmonaut Training Center (CPC).
"It wasn't as difficult as it seemed. A minor but important part of the work at some point in time was taken by my colleagues on the crew - Maezawa-san and Hirano-san. I am very grateful to them for their punctual, accurate and reliable work," he said, answering the relevant question.
According to Misurkin, the cost of space tourism in 50 years will be comparable to first class air travel. "In 50 years, if it's not business class, then first class is definitely affordable," the cosmonaut believes.
According to him, space tourism will allow more people to look at the Earth from the outside, make sure of its geometric shape, and draw their own in-depth conclusions.
Misurkin, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and his business assistant Yozo Hirano went to the ISS on December 8 and returned to Earth on December 20.
In addition, Misurkin became the first TASS correspondent on the space station.
