MOSCOW, December 21. /tass/. The airborne troops of the Russian Federation received almost 500 units of new and modernized equipment in 2021. This was announced on Tuesday by Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu at an expanded meeting of the board of the military department.
"Almost 500 units of new and modernized equipment, 13 thousand sets of landing equipment and parachute systems have been delivered to the Airborne Troops. Two airborne parachute regiments have been formed," Shoigu said.
