We are talking about contracts for up to 10 years
MOSCOW, December 21. /tass/. Long-term contracts for the supply of weapons and equipment to the troops in 2021 amounted to 83%. This was announced on Tuesday by Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu at an expanded meeting of the board of the military department.
"A number of innovations are being introduced to implement the measures of the state armament program and the state defense order. This concerns the conclusion of long-term - up to 10 years - state contracts that ensure the timely supply of weapons and equipment to the troops, technological readiness and uniform loading of industrial enterprises. The share of such state contracts in 2021 was 83%," Shoigu said.
"As a result, the level of fulfillment of the tasks of the State Budget, despite the existing restrictive measures, amounted to: 99.4% for procurement, 99.7% for repair and modernization," the minister added.
