Russian servicemen conducted training firing of barrel and rocket artillery at a training ground in the Volgograd region.
As reported in the Southern Military District, "during the field exercises, the servicemen fulfilled the standards for deploying guns and occupying firing positions, engineering equipment and camouflage, reconnaissance of targets and solving fire control tasks."
It is noted that calculations of 120-mm self-propelled artillery guns "Host" destroyed targets simulating tanks and groups of approaching enemy infantry at ranges of direct fire from 800 to 1100 m.
Calculations of 152-mm self-propelled artillery howitzers "Msta-S" and rocket artillery "Tornado-G" eliminated more than 200 covert areal and single targets at distances from 3 to 14 km.
Places of accumulation of equipment and command posts of the conditional enemy were also destroyed.
