It is already the second Asian country to receive Turkish attack drones. Yesterday, December 20, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported that the head of state Sadyr Zhaparov conducted an inspection and got acquainted with Bayraktar TB2.
Officially, drones have entered service with the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan. Based on the published photographs, the drones arrived together with weapons (adjustable bombs), which significantly expands the list of tasks for them.

"These devices were fully purchased with funds from the republican budget and will be used to ensure the country's defense security, including the protection of state borders," the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan said.
Kyrgyzstan has long-standing territorial disputes with Tajikistan. Conflicts often break out between countries on this basis. The last of them (in April of this year) turned into military clashes. Earlier, Turkmenistan purchased Bayraktar TB2 drones, becoming the first user of Turkish attack drones in Asia.
Bayraktar TB2 is a medium-range attack UAV designed and manufactured by the Turkish company Baykar. The development of the drone began in 2007, and two years later it made its first flight. In 2014, the developers demonstrated its final version to the Turkish military, and in March 2016, the Bayraktar TB2 was officially adopted by the Turkish army.
