Kyrgyzstan has received Turkish Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles.
They were examined by President Sadyr Zhaparov, the press service of the head of state reported. Drones, as noted, have entered service with the GKNB Border Service.
Zhaparov was told about the control system of these devices and demonstrated their work.
According to the press service of the president, the unmanned vehicles were fully purchased with funds from the republican budget and will be used to ensure the country's defense security, including the protection of state borders.

On October 21, the head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiyev announced Kyrgyzstan's intention to buy Bayraktar from Turkey. But he did not specify the terms of purchase, the number of devices and their cost.
"Bayraktar will be brought from Turkey soon, only five countries in the world have such weapons, and we will become one of them. We also bought Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles from Russia," Tashiev said.
Following Tashiyev, on October 23, at a press conference, President Sadyr Zhaparov announced the allocation of $ 100 million for the renewal of Kyrgyzstan's military equipment. He also noted that drones were bought from Russia and Turkey, Radio Azattyk says.
