Washington. December 17th. INTERFAX - Washington is not satisfied with the negotiations on the JCPOA with Iran, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on US public television.
"They (negotiations - IF) are not going well in terms of the way back to the JCPOA," he said, at the same time, noting that "some progress has been noted at the negotiating table in the last few days."
"But what is going well concerns unity with our European partners, greater convergence of views with China and Russia, as well as the position of Iran, which seems to have realized that negotiations should be approached with seriousness and constructiveness," Sullivan stressed.
According to him, Washington's patience is not unlimited: "We will mark the date - next week, next month, but I can say that as long as they (the Iranians) continue their nuclear program, it goes against the tenets of the JCPOA."
Earlier on Friday, it was reported about the completion of the seventh round of negotiations on the JCPOA in Vienna. It started on November 29 after a pause of several months. On December 3, negotiations within the framework of this round were suspended and resumed on December 9.
