Moscow. December 17th. INTERFAX - Anti-Russian sanctions are an instrument of unfair competition, and Western countries will always find reasons for their introduction, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.
"This (sanctions - "IF") is just a tool of competition now," he said at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
As an example, he cited the situation with the newest Russian airliner MS-21, which lost a number of imported components for the wing due to sanctions.
According to Putin, Russia managed to independently develop the necessary technologies, but the production of the aircraft and its launch to the market shifted a year and a half to the right.
"In principle, they have achieved their goal with the help of sanctions. It is absolutely obvious that this is an instrument of unfair competition. And they will do the same on other issues," he said in this regard.
