TSAMTO, December 15. The troops of the Central Military District (CVO) were armed with a batch of 30 means of radio interference "Lesochek".
This was announced by the head of the electronic warfare service of the Central Military District, Colonel Nikolai Fedorov, at the operational combat training camp, which is taking place in the Orenburg region.
"We have received a new batch of unique means of electronic warfare "Lesochek", which in their effectiveness surpass all analogues in the world. The "Lesochek" makes it possible to significantly increase the protection of equipment and personnel of units from radio-controlled mine-explosive devices on the march and in parking lots," N. Fedorov said, noting that the new weapons can also be used at points of permanent deployment of military units and when performing landfill tasks.
He stressed that Lesochek has a high conflict resistance to communications, which significantly increases the effectiveness of its use, the press service of the Central Military District reports.
