The children from Suvorov, Nakhimov naval schools, presidential cadet corps and boarding schools of pupils of the Ministry of Defense of Russia began winter holidays. They started ahead of schedule on the calendar.
The military explained that this is due to the current sanitary and epidemic situation in the country. In the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, the winter holidays for boys and girls were increased due to the postponed and added autumn holidays.
It is reported that all pupils, traveling to different regions of the country, undergo mandatory medical examination. Upon returning from vacation to prevent the introduction and spread of coronavirus infection, all children will be tested for COVID-19.
Then, pupils aged 12 to 15 years will be vaccinated with a domestic drug for adolescents Gam-COVID-Vak-M, which was registered by the Ministry of Health of Russia in November. It is known that it has already passed two phases of clinical trials and has shown safety and efficacy.
Vaccination will be preceded by a mandatory procedure with the participation of the children's parents. During the winter vacation, students will take with them the forms of voluntary informed consent for preventive vaccinations prepared by specialists of the Main Military Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Teenagers whose moms and dads will give the go-ahead for immunization are vaccinated under medical supervision. Without this consent, they will not vaccinate the children.
As for pupils over the age of 15, their immunization will also be accompanied by several conditions. Vaccination will be possible only with the written informed voluntary consent of the teenager himself. And, of course, if he has no medical contraindications to vaccination.
