Upgraded air defenses will be put on duty to protect the Rostov region.

As reported, the anti-aircraft missile regiments in the Rostov region will receive upgraded versions of air defense systems - S-300PM-2 "Favorite".
The systems will be able to work against modern electronic warfare and repel potential cruise missile strikes.
The updated modification of the "Favorite" should replace the previous versions of the S-300 system, sources in the Ministry of Defense say. In the Rostov region, these systems will cover the Don capital, the Rostov NPP and the waters of the Sea of Azov,
"Favorites" have been supplied to the troops since 2013. First of all, they equipped the air defense of the Moscow region. In addition, these systems protect the sky over Western Siberia.
