Peskov called the incident with the Ukrainian Navy ship near the Kerch Strait provocative

Moscow. December 10th. INTERFAX - The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov believes that incidents like the one that occurred with the Ukrainian Navy "Donbass" are fraught with serious consequences.

"What happened once again shows the potential harm and potential danger that can result from such provocative actions," Peskov said.

He warned that "any such provocation could lead to very, very serious consequences." "This is what President Putin has repeatedly said," Peskov said.

The FSB of the Russian Federation last Thursday said that the ship "Donbass" of the Ukrainian Navy is moving towards the Kerch Strait, does not fulfill the requirements to change course. Later, the ship took a reverse course. The special service regarded the actions of the crew as provocative and threatening the safety of navigation.
