The Polish army will soon receive 300 used wheeled armored vehicles from the United States with enhanced mine protection.
This was stated on Twitter by the country's Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, the purchased equipment will be used in the east of Poland.
"We have signed a contract with the United States for the supply of 300 used Cougar MRAP class cars (protected from demolition and ambush attacks). The vehicles, together with the logistics and training package, will be delivered to the Polish army in the first quarter of 2022 and will strengthen, in particular, the potential of units stationed in the eastern part of the country," Blaszczak said.
