MOSCOW, December 3. /tass/. Roscosmos has signed a contract with JSC "Russian Space Systems" to conduct research in the field of information security and noise immunity of the information and telecommunications infrastructure of the GLONASS system, according to the public procurement portal.
According to the contract, the contractor must perform the research work "Security-2030", which includes "comprehensive research and scientific and technical justification for the development of long-term information security and noise immunity of critical elements of the information and telecommunications infrastructure of the GLONASS system."
Also, "Security-2030" implies the study of ways to ensure the information security of the system, the analysis of promising threats in terms of the redistribution of frequency bands and scientific and technical problems of protecting the information resources of the GLONASS system. Also, within the framework of the contract, the procedure for detecting and preventing computer attacks on the critical information infrastructure of the GLONASS system will be determined, research will be carried out in the field of developing and applying tools and methods for detecting, preventing and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks on it and other work.
All work will be carried out in nine stages and fully completed by November 15, 2030. The results should be provided to the customer - Roscosmos.
The contract amount is about 2.58 billion rubles.
