At the Baikonur cosmodrome, work has been completed on placing cargo intended for delivery to the International Space Station in the Soyuz MS-20 manned spacecraft.
Specialists of RSC Energia (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) work at the technical complex of site 254 completed the finishing of the delivered goods in the household compartment of the ship.
First of all, these are New Year's parcels for the Russian crew members of the 66th main expedition - Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov. Our cosmonauts should receive congratulatory correspondence from relatives and friends, personal gifts and favorite pieces of music, as well as homemade treats for the festive table.
In total, it is planned to deliver about 162 kg of payloads to the ISS, including materials for biomedical research and experiments, consumables, hygiene products, food rations and 13 kg of fresh fruit.
The flight to the International Space Station will take place according to a four-turn scheme, docking to the small research module "Search" is scheduled at 16:41 Moscow time. The main crew of the spacecraft includes: Commander Alexander Misurkin (Roscosmos) and participants of the space flight - President of the Start Today Corporation Yusaku Maezawa and his personal assistant Yozo Hirano.
