Moscow. December 1st. INTERFAX - Due to bad weather, the European Aerospace Company is postponing the launch of the Soyuz rocket with Galileo navigation satellites on board, previously planned on Wednesday, for December 3, - the company's CEO Stefan Israel said on Twitter.
"Due to adverse weather conditions at the Guiana Space Center (CSG), the launch of VS26, originally scheduled for December 1, has been postponed. The launch vehicle and satellites are in a stable and safe condition," the report says.
Earlier, the launch of a launch vehicle with satellites on board was planned for December 2 at 03:31 Moscow time. The nearest launch time is scheduled for December 3 at 3:27 Moscow time, Israel added.
The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, reported earlier that two launches of Russian launch vehicles from the Kourou cosmodrome are planned by the end of the year.
"The launches are coming from Baikonur, from Plesetsk and from the cosmodrome in French Guiana - the Kourou cosmodrome - there should also be two launches there by the end of the year," Rogozin said.
