MOSCOW, November 30/ Sputnik Radio. NATO countries are transferring military equipment to the borders of the Russian Federation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance have recently significantly increased military activity in the Black Sea region.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the United States is trying to deploy an army group near the borders of the Russian Federation, and one of Washington's goals is the military development of Ukraine.
At the same time, statements by some Western politicians and publications in the media that Russia is allegedly preparing an invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin previously called alarmist.
He stressed that Moscow will never agree with the fact that it allegedly acts as one of the parties to the internal Ukrainian conflict.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also refuted the assumptions about "pulling troops to the border with Ukraine." The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow moves troops within its territory and at its discretion.
Earlier, Sputnik radio told why Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called the military integration of Russia and Belarus a threat to NATO.
