TSAMTO, November 30. Russia will supply aircraft to the Armed Forces of Mongolia, as well as help in the modernization of the airfield infrastructure, said the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov during a meeting with the President of Mongolia Ukhnagiyn Khurelsuh.
"We attach great importance to bilateral contacts in the military-technical sphere. We continue to implement steps aimed at developing the armed forces of Mongolia. In particular, this is the modernization of the airfield infrastructure, the supply of aviation equipment, as well as the repair of armored vehicles," said the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
She also noted the positive results of the 12th meeting of the joint working group on military-technical cooperation, held last week in St. Petersburg.
"We count on the support of our initiatives in international politics and intend to work fruitfully in all areas of military and military-technical cooperation," Valery Gerasimov said.
