The French have created dynamic camouflage for armored vehicles. At the defense innovation exhibition held last week in Paris, the French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) presented a number of promising developments.
One of the most interesting technologies was Caméléon. The project to develop dynamic camouflage was launched back in 2008 and two years later was patented by DGA. Now the project has "matured" to the demonstrator stage.

According to the developers, the camouflage system consists of pixel screens controlled by an artificial intelligence system. Thanks to the ability to track the environment and quickly change the color of the panel, armored vehicles become invisible in the visible and thermal infrared range.
