TSAMTO, November 29. Last week, Russia handed over four Mi-171 military transport helicopters to the Armed Forces of Mali.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was reported on November 29 by the Russian Embassy in Mali and Niger.
"On November 26, an official ceremony was held for the transfer of four Russian Mi-171 military transport helicopters to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Mali with the participation of President of the transitional period A. Goita and Prime Minister Sh.Maiga," the diplomatic mission's Twitter account says.
Earlier, the country's Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Mali needs supplies of Russian aircraft and the training of qualified personnel.
