The unit of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will receive multiple launch rocket systems "Tornado-S".
The Russian Defense Ministry has decided to supply new weapons.

The new vehicles will be delivered to the 338th Guards Jet Brigade. The military will also receive conventional and high-precision ammunition. The publication notes that the delivery time will depend on the fulfillment of the state defense order.
The head of the missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Mikhail Matveevsky, called the feature of the modernized MLRS. According to him, "Tornado-C" can hit small targets with guided projectiles. The car also received automated guidance systems that allow the crew to prepare the launch in the Tornado-C cabin.
Earlier, Alexander Smirnov, General Director of the A.N. Ganichev Alloy NGO (part of the Technodinamika holding of Rostec State Corporation), spoke about the start of production of correctable missiles for Tornado-S.
According to him, the company has signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry for the supply of ammunition.
