The launch was the 399th for the Long March series launch vehicles

BEIJING, November 26. /tass/. China has successfully launched the Zhongxing-1D satellite from the Xichang Cosmodrome in the southwestern province of Sichuan. This was reported on Friday by the Xinhua news agency.

The Long March 3B launch vehicle with a satellite launched from the launch pad at 00:40 Beijing time (19:40 Moscow time). The device successfully entered the specified orbit.

The current launch was the 399th for the Long March series launch vehicles.

The People's Republic of China is actively developing the national space program, developing meteorological, telecommunications and navigation satellites, as well as launching spacecraft for the study of celestial bodies, in particular the Moon and Mars.
