Sea trials of a new non-nuclear submarine have begun near Shanghai. The ship's departure to sea was caught on video and appeared on social networks. The music in the video is cheerful, so watch with sound.
The type of ship built at the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding shipyard is not named. Presumably this is the lead submarine of the new project 039C, equipped with an air-independent power plant, writes Dambiev .
