#Yemen : Not every day that one sees a ?? QJG-02/Type 02 14.5x114mm HMG for sale with the original packaging. This is roughly analogous to the Soviet KPV & is a newer replacement for the Chinese KPV copy (Type 58).
Pricing is unknown, it appears to be in the vicinity of #Sanaa . pic.twitter.com/LyZEoipfih

This weapon was created to replace the Type 58, a clone of the Soviet CPV produced by the military industry of the People's Republic of China. Interestingly, it was practically not sold abroad.
For a long time, only one buyer was known - the Iraqi Armed Forces, where machine guns of this model were first seen seven years ago.
They were installed on various wheeled vehicles, including Humvee armored vehicles, and were actively used in battles with various terrorist groups.
This year, QJG-02 "lit up" in Iran, and the boxes where they were were marked 2017. So, perhaps, deliveries were carried out earlier. And now CS/LM2 somehow got to Yemen.
This weapon is convenient just for actions as part of mobile groups - it is disassembled into five parts, which are easily carried by fighters. The total weight of the tripod-mounted version is 75 kilograms. There is also an option on a wheeled machine.
The rate of fire is 600 rounds per minute. The maximum range of the affected ground targets is 2000 meters. These machine guns were adopted by the People's Liberation Army of China in 2002.
