The press service of Lockheed Martin indicates that the PZL Mielec plant will supply the rear and middle parts of the fuselage, the cabin structure, the side panel of the cabin and the front compartment of equipment for all manufactured F-16 fighters. These components will be shipped to Lockheed Martin's new assembly line in Greenville, South Carolina.

"Thanks to the already confirmed orders for the F-16 Block 70/72 from Bahrain, Bulgaria, Slovakia and two other international customers, global interest in the new and upgraded F-16V remains high," the Lockheed Martin press service reported.
The PZL Mielec plant also produces S-70i Black Hawk helicopters and M28 transport aircraft. Lockheed Martin indicated that the decision to start work on the production of F-16 elements at PZL Mielec is related to Poland's choice of F-35 fighters.
