According to Andrey Boginsky, CEO of the Russian Helicopters holding, the promising attack helicopter will be optionally manned.
Russia is working on a fundamentally new attack helicopter, which should replace the Mi-28 and Ka-52 in the future. Andrey Boginsky, CEO of Russian Helicopters, told about what a new generation car can be.
According to him, the "drummer" is seen primarily as an optional manned helicopter. In other words, it will exist in both manned and unmanned versions.
The second important feature will be the possibility of information interaction between different aircraft and points on the ground. In addition, the helicopter of the future should be able to use unified weapons that can be used by various aircraft.

According to Boginsky, a promising attack helicopter may differ greatly from existing vehicles in appearance.
Recall that the alleged appearance of the helicopter of the future TSAGI showed back in 2018: it vaguely resembles the Ka-52. The main feature of the novelty can be extremely high (by helicopter standards) speed.
