TSAMTO, November 22. A mobile workshop for the repair of radio engineering stations and communications equipment (MRTS) has been received by the joint command of the combined arms army of the VVO, stationed in Transbaikalia, as part of the re-equipment to modern and latest models of the VVST.
The workshop is designed to carry out routine maintenance, perform routine repairs on communications equipment in the field.
With the help of special equipment installed in the body of the KamAZ-5350 car, the servicemen of the repair units in the field can identify and eliminate malfunctions of communication means, check the operating modes of equipment, configure and adjust the power supply of their own equipment, as well as charge batteries of various types.
The technical equipment of the modern workshop provides for carrying out work at an outdoor temperature from -40 to +50 degrees. C and relative humidity 95-98%.
Currently, the MRTS is already being used by military personnel of the VVO compound as part of seasonal maintenance, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
