The journalist made his statement after the publication of an interview that he took from the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.
"Budanov told me that Ukrainian troops used Javelin in combat," Altman wrote.
It is not specified when and under what circumstances Javelin was used in the area of the Joint Forces operation.
Recall that on October 26, Ukraine for the first time used the Turkish Bayraktar drone to destroy separatist artillery in the Donbas. This move of the Armed Forces was condemned in the Kremlin, Western countries expressed concern.
However, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Shaptala, said that the military will use Bayraktar in the OOS zone every time there is a threat to the life of defenders.
