MOSCOW, Nov 19 - RIA Novosti. The Russian Ministry of Defense has published a scheme for joint patrolling of Tu-95MS bombers and Chinese Hun-6K bombers over the Japanese and East China Seas, from which it follows that the aircraft of the Russian Federation and China did not violate the borders of neighboring states, including Japan.
Earlier, the Russian military department reported that on November 19, strategic bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces and the PLA Air Force (People's Liberation Army of China) conducted the third joint air patrol in the Asia-Pacific region. The Defense Ministry added that the event was held as part of the implementation of the provisions of the military cooperation plan for 2021 and is not directed against third countries.
It follows from the presented scheme that a group of Russian Tu-95MS launched from the Ukrainka airbase (Amur Region), after which it proceeded over the waters of the Japanese and East China Seas, where Chinese bombers joined them. The patrol ended near the southeastern borders of China. At the same time, the Russian-Chinese group of aircraft did not violate the airspace of other states in the region: Japan, the DPRK and South Korea.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the goal of the joint mission is "the development of Russian-Chinese relations, a comprehensive partnership, further increasing the level of interaction between the armed forces of the two countries, improving their capabilities to conduct joint actions, as well as strengthening global strategic stability."
