In the event of an attack by Ukraine on Crimea or other territories of Russia, the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation will completely neutralize all warships and coastal military infrastructure of the enemy in the period from 50 minutes to 10 hours. This was stated by a high-ranking source, a retired captain of the first rank.
He drew attention to the fact that these are the "military standards of modern armies." At the same time, according to the military, to solve the problem associated with the attack from the Ukrainian side, a "bubble of access prohibition" has been deployed in Crimea.
In addition, he added that Novorossiysk has all sea, aviation, artillery and missile, as well as other means. In particular, as the retired captain of the first rank pointed out, we are talking about the Aerospace Forces, airborne forces and marine Corps units.
At the same time, he explained that "he does not imagine a situation where Russia itself would attack first, and not act reactively," the Telegram channel "Glavmedia" reports his words on Wednesday, November 17.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in turn, noted on the same day that Kiev was covering up its actions to undermine the Minsk agreements by escalating "horror stories" about the Russian threat. In addition, he pointed out that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, is not against provoking incidents in the Donbass, hoping for the help of the West.
At the same time, in March, a Ukrainian politician, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Tatyana Chernovol, called for preparing for the seizure of Crimea from Russia "at any moment." According to her, it is necessary to wait until "turbulence processes" begin in Russia.
The deputy of the rada from the party "Opposition Platform - For Life" Renat Kuzmin expressed the opinion that the bellicose rhetoric in Ukraine lately sounds not just like that, but the country is preparing for a real war. Kuzmin drew attention to the fact that there are constant calls in the country to "kill someone, blow up something, pull up troops, take something away."
Crimea returned to Russia in 2014 following a referendum in which the majority of residents of the peninsula voted for reunification. Ukraine refuses to recognize the results of the vote. Moscow has repeatedly claimed that the procedure was carried out in strict accordance with international law and the issue of ownership of the peninsula is finally closed.
