The Polish army continues to transfer troops to the Belarusian border. The official telegram channel of the Belarusian Telegraph Agency published a video about the relocation of military equipment, presumably belonging to the eighth air defense regiment of the twelfth mechanized division.
Her field camp is deployed near the village of Veiki, six kilometers from the state border.
On the video footage, you can see eleven tractors with trawls carrying anti-aircraft missile systems "Cube" on tracked chassis, wheeled "Wasps", as well as other special equipment.
Earlier it was already reported about the direction of the "Cube" systems of the fifteenth air defense regiment of the sixteenth mechanized division to the settlement of Rybaki, located at the Semyanivka reservoir ten kilometers from the border lines. The deployment of units of another tank brigade is also expected here.
Poland adopted the Kub anti-aircraft missile systems in the second half of the 80s. Now there are about two dozen such installations in service.
This technique is not new, but it allows you to destroy various aerial targets, such as airplanes and helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles at various altitudes, including at low altitudes, and at a range of more than two dozen kilometers.
Wasps are also designed to perform similar tasks. There are more than sixty such SAMs in operation in Poland.
