MOSCOW, November 17. /tass/. A shotgun cartridge for hunting and shooting sports with a luminous element indicating the trajectory of the projectile was created in Russia. This was reported on Wednesday in the Rostec state Corporation.
"Engineers of the Technodinamika holding of Rostec State Corporation have created an innovative cartridge with a light element that allows you to visualize the flight of a shotgun shell and adjust the accuracy of the shot," the report says.
According to the company, the cartridge, called "Loop-Vector", has no Russian and foreign analogues.
"When fired, the container is divided into three parts, releasing an ignited red light element flying in the middle of the talus of the shot, demonstrating the trajectory of its flight," explained the principle of operation of the product in the state corporation.
The "Loop-Vector" cartridge was created by experts of the Research Institute of Applied Chemistry. The ammunition can be used in a 12-caliber smoothbore weapon with a chamber length of 70 mm or more. The equipment of the cartridge includes 28 grams of shot and a light element weighing 4 grams.
"We expect that this unique product will be in demand by both hunters and citizens who are fond of sports shooting," Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the arms cluster of Rostec State Corporation, is quoted in the press service as saying.
