Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec State Corporation) received applications for the supply of various aircraft, including airplanes, helicopters and drones, for $2.5 billion during the Dubai Airshow 2021 international Airshow. This was announced to journalists on Tuesday by Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mikheev on the sidelines of the exhibition.
"During meetings and negotiations at Dubai Airshow 2021, Rosoboronexport received requests from foreign customers for the supply of aircraft, helicopters and UAVs totaling over $2.5 billion," he said.
He noted that Rosoboronexport's order portfolio includes more than 180 helicopters totaling about $4 billion.
"To date, Rosoboronexport's portfolio of orders for the supply of helicopter equipment includes more than 180 combat vehicles totaling about $ 4 billion, and in general, the Air Force equipment makes up 42% of the order portfolio, air defense - 31%," he said.
According to Mikheev, among the military equipment samples delivered in 2021 are MiG-29M, Su-30MKI, Su-35, Yak-130 aircraft, Mi-17V5, Mi-171SH, Mi-35M and Mi-35P helicopters, various aircraft engines and aircraft weapons.
Deliveries to foreign customers
Russia will supply about 100 aircraft and helicopters to foreign customers in 2021, Mikheev said.
"Rosoboronexport is expected to supply 36 aircraft for various purposes and almost 60 helicopters, as well as aircraft engines and UAVs during 2021," he said.
