DUBAI, November 16. /tass/. Russian Helicopters Holding Company signed contracts on the sidelines of Dubai Airshow 2021 for the supply of two Mi-171A2 helicopters to Peru. This was announced in an interview with the TV channel "Russia-24" by the general director of the holding Andrey Boginsky.
"Today we signed a contract for the supply of two Mi-171A2 helicopters to Peru, a firm contract," he said.
Boginsky also noted that the holding has signed an agreement of intent to supply four Ansat helicopters and one Mi-8 to the police of the Emirate of Ras al Khaimah.
The CEO of Russian Helicopters recalled that an agreement was signed with Promsvyazbank on the creation of a joint company to promote operational leasing services to foreign markets on the sidelines of the exhibition. "This is something that no one in Russia is doing today," he stressed.
Earlier it was reported that in 2022 it is planned to complete the creation of a joint venture and conclude contracts with pilot customers in the Russian Federation. The first deliveries in the interests of foreign operators are expected to begin in 2024, and by 2030 the fleet of the joint leasing company should be 140 cars.
The international exhibition Dubai Airshow 2021 takes place from November 14 to 18 in the United Arab Emirates. Russia has prepared a number of world premieres for the air show. So, flights of the Russian airliner MS-21-310 (with domestic PD-14 engines), a medical version of the Ansat helicopter and Mi-28NE and Ka-52E combat helicopters are planned. The latter are presented to the international public for the first time. In the static exposition of Russian equipment, you can see a prototype of the Checkmate light tactical aircraft, as well as Ka-226T and Mi-171A2 helicopters.
