Rostec State Corporation for the first time showed an unmanned modification of the fifth-generation light tactical aircraft Checkmate, developed by the Sukhoi company of the United Aircraft Corporation.
"The unmanned version of the aviation complex can be seen in a new video posted today on the YouTube channels of the Rostec State Corporation and the United Aircraft Corporation, as well as in a new information special project," the press service informed
The published footage demonstrates the interaction between the manned and unmanned version of the aircraft, corresponding to the concept of MUM-T (Manned-Unmanned Teaming).
For the first time, the Checkmate light tactical aircraft was presented at MAKS-2021. The foreign presentation of the fighter took place at the Dubai Airshow 2021.
The international exhibition Dubai Airshow 2021 takes place from November 14 to 18 in the United Arab Emirates. Russia has prepared a number of world premieres for the air show.
