On the first day of the opening of the Dubai Airshow 2021, the MC-21-310, equipped with new Russian PD-14 engines, took part in the flight program.
The flight lasted 10 minutes, the aircraft was piloted by a crew consisting of test pilots of Irkut Corporation Vasily Sevastyanov and Andrey Voropayev.
The demonstration flight included a number of elements showing the capabilities of the liner: a rapid climb up to 800 m, turns with climb and descent, a "slide" with an angle of 45 degrees and a minimum speed of 210 km / h, a turn with an overload of 2g, a passage at an altitude of 100 m with a welcome swing of the wing to visitors of the exhibition.
Dubai Airshow 2021 was the venue for the international premiere of a new aircraft created by Irkut Corporation, part of the UAC, with domestic PD-14 aircraft engines manufactured by UEC. For the exhibition, a part of the business and economy class cabin is installed on the liner. This makes it possible to demonstrate to visitors of the aircraft one of the advantages of the MS-21 - an increased passage between the seats, provided by the widest fuselage in its class.

During the flights, the plane covered about 3,700 km, part of the route passed over the sea. According to the crew's report, the flight took place in normal mode.
