DUBAI, November 15. /tass/. Factory tests of the first Russian swarm control system of aircraft drones will begin in 2022. This was announced to TASS by Sergey Bogatikov, CEO of Kronstadt JSC, on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow International Airshow.
"We are showing this system for the first time, this is the world premiere. Next year we will enter factory tests," he said.
According to the head of the company, options for both civilian and military applications of the automated workplace of the UAV operator are being considered. "The system makes it possible to significantly reduce the load on operators and thereby ensure the combat use, the use of technology using artificial intelligence," Bogatikov said.
Bogatikov previously told TASS that the drone swarm control system presented at the Dubai Airshow will allow controlling 20 heterogeneous aircraft.
This year, at the Dubai Air Show, Kronstadt JSC also presented for the first time a full-size drone from the Orion-E reconnaissance and strike complex with aviation weapons.
