The British will help Ukraine build missile boats. Yesterday, November 13, the portal zn.ua He reported that the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK, Vadym Prystaiko, signed a Ukrainian-British framework agreement providing for the allocation of funds for the construction of eight missile boats and not only them.
The framework agreement was the next step after the memorandum signed last year. There are some changes in the new document — if the loan amount of £1.2 billion was discussed last year, then in the framework agreement it increased to £1.7 billion. Most likely, the difference of £ 500 million will be used to expand the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Navy, since the new document includes the creation of two naval bases.

According to the framework agreement, the money will be allocated in the form of a loan for ten years. For these funds, the Ukrainian navy will receive eight new Barzan-type missile boats (six of them are planned to be built in Ukraine), two second-hand minesweepers, in addition, two naval bases will be built.
