The export version of the Su-57 differs from the fighters of the "4++" generation in versatility, super maneuverability and other characteristics
DUBAI, November 14. /tass/. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) offers consultations with potential customers of the modification of the fifth-generation Su-57E fighter. This was announced to TASS by the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev during the Dubai Airshow 2021 International Airshow.
"Russia's strategic partners in the Middle East region are showing interest in the fifth-generation Su-57E multifunctional fighter," he said.
Mikheev clarified that Rosoboronexport is consulting on cooperation on a single-seat modification.
The export version of the Su-57 differs from the fighters of the "4++" generation in terms of versatility, super maneuverability and other characteristics.
The head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, in an interview with TASS on the eve of Dubai Airshow 2021, noted that the Su-57 fighter is the world's only fifth-generation heavy fighter offered for export. These are radically different combat capabilities: low visibility, high speed, combat load, maneuverability, so the interest in the aircraft is appropriate.
Dubai Airshow is one of the largest international aviation and space exhibitions and is held in the UAE once every two years. Russia has been participating in it since 1993.
