MOSCOW, Nov 13 - RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on the words of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko about patrolling Russian and Belarusian aviation, said that Moscow and Minsk conduct scheduled exercises on an ongoing basis, and strategic aviation regularly flies along its routes.
Lukashenko said earlier that Russian and Belarusian aviation will monitor the border with Poland, the Baltic States, and Ukraine.
"Well, not that he turned. Strategic aviation - it cannot do anything to solve such crises. We have scheduled exercises with our Belarusian colleagues, we do this on an ongoing basis," he said in an interview on the Rossiya 24 channel.
"Our Western partners conduct exercises constantly. On a regular and irregular basis. Unplanned of various kinds. We do it too. And our strategic aviation also regularly flies along its patrol routes, the fact of the presence of our strategic aviation is indicated," he added.
