The most popular Russian aircraft on the foreign market are listed.
The head of Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov gave an interview to TASS on the eve of the opening of the Dubai Airshow 2021 exhibition. In it, he, in particular, spoke about the domestic military aircraft that are of the greatest interest in the Middle East.
First of all, this is the Su-57, which is the only fifth-generation heavy fighter in the world that is offered for export. Its main advantages: low visibility, high speed, high combat load, maneuverability. Also popular are: the multifunctional light fighter MiG-35, the multipurpose supermaneuverable Su-35 and its sibling Su-30, the Il-76MD-90A transporter and the Il-78M-90A tanker.
"The advantages of Russian fighters at the Dubai Airshow can be seen in action. The Russian Knights aerobatics group will perform in the flight program on the Su-30," said Sergey Chemezov. - "This type of aircraft is an excellent example of the success of Russian products on the international market."
Recall that modified export versions of the Su-30 fighter are in service with China, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Venezuela and Algeria. As part of a $2.5 billion contract signed in 2015, China received 24 Su-35 fighter jets. In 2018, a two-billion-dollar contract for the supply of 24 Su-35s was signed with Egypt.
