As early as next year, the United States may have a reusable hypersonic drone. Yesterday, November 10, Hermeus company held an official presentation of a promising drone called Quarterhorse.
In August of this year, the US Air Force announced a multimillion-dollar investment in a startup called Hermeus. The company has already presented a full-size mock-up of its hypersonic drone, and also demonstrated the operation of its engine.

Few technical details of Quarterhorse have been made public yet. It is known that the drone will be equipped with a combined engine created on the basis of GE J85, and accelerates the aircraft to hypersonic speed.
