Minsk. November 11. INTERFAX - Two Russian Tu-160s are practicing bombing at a training ground in Belarus as part of the exercises, a message on the telegram channel of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense said on Thursday.
"Currently, two Tu-160 supersonic strategic bombers are practicing a number of combat training tasks, including simulated bombing at the Ruzhansky aviation training ground without the use of aviation weapons," the report says.
It is noted that at the same time, the fighter aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force solved the task of their conditional interception and currently provides support along the flight route.
"The ongoing inspection of the on-duty forces that are part of the unified regional air defense system of the Union State, as well as the tasks being solved, indicate the readiness and determination of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation to ensure the military security of the Union State in any conditions, both in the air and on the ground," the message emphasizes.
