On November 9, the first meeting of the Working Group on Regulatory and legal support of the financial stability of the organizations of the military-industrial complex at the Bureau of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia took place, the press service of PJSC Promsvyazbank reported.
The participants included the top officials of large machine-building and defense corporations, enterprises of high-tech industries, relevant ministries and departments. Pyotr Fradkov, Chairman of the PSB, who is a member of the bureau of the central Council of Soyuzmash of Russia LLC, has been appointed Chairman of the new Working Group.
Already by the first meeting, the Working Group conducted a survey among the participating enterprises and members of the Soyuzmash bureau, as a result of which more than 60 proposals and comments on the most pressing issues were received. The participants initiated a discussion of the problems of current approaches to pricing within the framework of the State Budget, which directly affect the financial stability of enterprises, issues of stimulating supply and demand for defense industry diversification projects, and much more. Based on the results of the expert study, specific proposals on the identified problems and substantive adjustments to the regulatory framework will be formed.
"A new working group has been created to support the defense industry and the Russian industry as a whole. We have outlined the development vectors for the coming year — we will identify the most acute problems of the industry, comprehensively study the initiatives of enterprises to eliminate barriers to development and improve measures to support the industry. After a thorough examination, we will prepare appropriate proposals to improve the financial stability of defense industry organizations - we hope that they will become the basis for decision—making in the field of industrial policy and state defense orders," Petr Fradkov said at the opening of the meeting.
"The defense industry produces its products, especially civilian ones, in a difficult competitive struggle. The voiced problems prevent them from fully developing, so it is very important that everyone works to create a comfortable eco-environment for defense enterprises and financial groups, taking into account the specifics of production. On the eve of our meeting, a large-scale work was done - a survey on this topic of defense enterprises - members of the Union and the League and a generalization of the proposals received. They will be the subject of our discussion and the content of the activities of the created working group," Vladimir Gutenev, First Vice President of Soyuzmash of Russia LLC, head of the Committee on Industry and Trade of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, said in his welcoming speech.
