The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lifted into the air the Bayraktar TB2 attack drone of Turkish production. In this they were caught by the Telegram channel "Military Observer", referring to the portal data PlaneRadar.ru .
"The Bayraktar TB2 UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is currently operating in the airspace of the country," the channel said in a statement.
At the same time, it is noted that, according to preliminary data, the drone is heading for Donbass.
On October 26, it was reported that the AFU for the first time involved Bayraktar in combat operations in the Donbass. According to Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov, a Russian-made howitzer located at the positions of the 93rd mechanized Brigade in the Donetsk region was destroyed with the help of a drone.
At the same time, later the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Natalia Nikonorova called the information about the use of a Turkish drone by the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the fighting a fake. According to her, the case of the combat use of Bayraktar has not been confirmed.
