The maximum weight of the CSK131 can reach 6300 kg, the load capacity is 1400 kg. It is capable of towing trailers weighing -2000 kg. In addition to the driver, it can carry 5 more passengers.
The inhabited compartment is equipped with special chairs that save the lives of servicemen during explosions on mines and land mines.
The armor withstands 7.62 × 39 mm bullets fired from a distance of 100 meters. The Cummins 200 hp turbocharged diesel engine manufactured under license provides good mobility. There is a permanent all-wheel drive and a central tire pumping system.
Various weapons are installed on this vehicle, including 12.7 mm heavy machine guns, 35 mm automatic grenade launchers, anti-tank missile systems or remotely controlled combat modules. Armored cars can be used to deliver personnel during anti-terrorist operations.
Also, Nigerian security forces continue to receive armored vehicles of the MRAP CS/VP3 Bigfoot class. At the end of October, 60 newly purchased Type 89 tracked armored personnel carriers were shown.
