Digital portable radios of the sixth generation "Azart-P1" replaced devices of earlier modifications at the Russian military base in Tajikistan
This was reported by the press service of the Central Military District (CVO). "More than two thousand modern Azart-P1 radio stations have been received by the Central Military District troops since the beginning of the year. The new means of communication came to replace radio stations of earlier modifications that were in service with units of combined arms associations and military units in the Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Orenburg regions, as well as the Russian military base in Tajikistan," the press service of the district said.
Earlier, against the background of the Taliban movement coming to power in Afghanistan (a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation), the Russian military reported on strengthening the base in Tajikistan with new weapons. And a new radio station is most welcome.
R-187-P1 "Azart" belongs to the class of software-defined radio stations (SDR). The know-how implemented in it makes it possible to organize the radio communication subsystem of the tactical control link and ensure the noise-proof exchange of information in any conditions, including in the case of electronic counteraction of the enemy.
A unique software and technical solution is the mode of pseudo-random adjustment of the operating frequency with a speed of up to 20,000 jumps per second. In this mode, any possibility of technical suppression of communication or interception/direction finding of the signal is excluded, which ensures high security of the transmitted information and stability of the communication system. That is, conversations on "Excitement" can neither be tracked, nor listened to, nor silenced.
The SDR platform used in the radio station makes it possible to guarantee the possibility of organizing radio communication with radio stations of different generations working with different protocols and frequency ranges. There are more than 60 types of various digital and analog radio equipment in the Russian armed forces, which are not able to interact with each other without certain problems. The Azart radio station is compatible with radio equipment of all types and generations used in the military.
The radio station provides simultaneous support for GLONASS and GPS satellite systems with the ability to determine the coordinates of the subscriber's location and exchange data in automatic or manual mode. Using a radio station in repeater mode allows you to multiply the communication range. And when using a portable radio station of the unified "Azart" series, it is possible to create a complex communication system of a tactical unit with a radio exchange range of at least 500 km.
The 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan is the largest Russian military facility outside of its borders, part of the Central Military District. It is located in two cities - Dushanbe and Bokhtar. The base includes motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units, air defense units, RCBZ and communications.
