Novy Kosmos will create small satellites
MOSCOW, November 8. /tass/. Anton Alekseev, the winner of one of the stages of the Leaders of Russia competition, has created a new private space company that will create small satellites. This was reported on Monday in the press service of the competition.
"The winner of the first season of the Leaders of Russia management contest - the flagship project of the presidential platform "Russia is a land of Opportunities" - public adviser to the Governor of the Rostov region Anton Alekseev was appointed CEO of the newly created joint stock company "Corporation for Aerospace Activities "New Cosmos", and the finalist of the specialization "Finance and Technology" Ilya Babenko took the position of First Deputy CEO of the corporation," the message says.
According to the press service, the corporation will develop projects in the space and digital spheres. "Novy Kosmos has as its mission to make a significant contribution to Russia's technological leadership and building specialized international cooperation," Alekseev said, quoted by the press service.
"We set ourselves promising tasks to create small spacecraft, create digital services and platforms for research and educational projects, as well as to conduct scientific and educational events on specialized topics to involve young people and scientists in the space and digital industries," Babenko's words are quoted by Leaders of Russia.
ANO "Russia - the land of opportunities" is developing a platform of the same name that unites 26 projects: the management competition "Leaders of Russia", the competition "Leaders of Russia. Politics", the All-Russian Olympiad of students "I am a professional", the competition "Your move", the international competition "My first business" and many others. The organization was created on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
